Add The New York Post on Google Chelsea WAG Pawgli didn’t receive as warm of a welcome to London as she expected.
The 27-year-old, who moved from Madrid and is the girlfriend of new signing Pep Chavarria, shared a TikTok video about a squirrel ruining her trip to the nail salon.
What should have been a 50-minute walk to the establishment, Pawgli, who has never revealed her real name, explained it took 90 minutes after an encounter with the animal, per The Sun.
About 45 minutes into the walk from a hotel — as Chavarria is waiting for his new home to be available later in August — Pawgli’s route took her into a trail in the woods surrounded by lakes.
Soon enough, a squirrel appeared in Pawgli’s path and stared her down, looking unwilling to move or budge.
In a nervous state, Pawgli took to ChatGPT to ask “Do squirrels attack?”
According to her, the AI chatbot answered that squirrels can attack, but advised her to wait for the squirrel to leave.
However, after 10 to 15 minutes the squirrel did not move, which prompted Pawgli to turn around and find an alternate route, which pushed her journey to be 90 minutes long.
Pawgli previously admitted she had reservations about moving to London after establishing a career in content creation around fashion, beauty and lifestyle brands.
She boasts 1.1 million TikTok followers and 220,000 on Instagram.
Pawgli admitted she initially considered staying in Madrid and navigating a long-distance relationship with the Chelsea left-back.
“I have my life in Madrid, I have my job in Madrid,” she said. “Which luckily is going very, very well. I have projects, I have all the brands I work with there, I have daily events, I have my sister, my family, my friends.”
However, she said she made the decision out of “love” and she wants to build a “future and a family” with Chavarria, who joined Chelsea from the Madrid-based club Rayo Vallecano in a deal around 18 million pounds.
