Add The California Post on Google Two people were rushed to the hospital and another person was arrested following a three-vehicle crash in Lancaster Saturday night.
The California Highway Patrol said the crash happened along State Route 4 near Avenue H shortly before 11 p.m.
The collision involved a big rig and two passenger vehicles, according to KTLA. Footage from the scene showed emergency crews carrying one person on a stretcher after they were found crawling along the side of the freeway.
A damaged sedan could be seen near the front of the semi, while a damaged SUV was at the rear. Another semi was also visible next to the crash scene but did not appear to have sustained any damage.
“One party was arrested,” a CHP spokesperson told KTLA, without providing further details about the person or the circumstances surrounding the arrest.
The conditions of the two people taken to the hospital were not immediately known.
The California Post reached out to CHP for additional information about the hospitalized victims and the charges the arrested person may face but did not immediately hear back.
