“DTF St. Louis” and “Rooster” are streaming over on HBO Max (formerly Max, formerly HBO), “Paradise” is exclusive to Hulu, and Netflix has, well, everything. But which subscription am I supposed to have if I want to watch “Love Story,” like everyone’s talking about? And what about watching March Madness and the World Baseball Classic?

Genre Packs are yet another new DIRECTV offering, allowing viewers who know their tastes to select from curated groups of channels that cater to their specific tastes. Options include the MySports Base Pack, the MyEntertainment Base Pack, and the MyNews Base Pack, amongst others.

Plus, if you’d like to curate your selections even further, DIRECTV allows you to customize your Genre Packs, too, with the ability to add streaming add-ons, all without having to leave the comfort of your DIRECTV app.
The Gemini Air device is a streaming device similar to a Fire TV Stick or a Roku that connects to your Wi-Fi and makes it easy to access your live TV, On Demand content, and thousands of your favorite streaming apps – all from inside the DIRECTV experience.
One curated home screen will allow you to access all of your favorite apps*, so you’ll never have to switch between TV inputs again to go between your live TV and streaming. A carousel tailored to you on the home screen will feature both live and streaming recommendations based on other things you’ve watched.

All of the base Signature Packages, starting with ENTERTAINMENT, include local news channels, and depending on which plans you choose, you’ll also get regional sports networks specific to your market.
It’s one of the biggest months of the year for sports, because March means it’s time for March Madness. The NCAA tournament kicks off on March 17 and will air across several channels. Baseball is also back, first in the form of the World Baseball Classic on FOX and FS1, then with MLB Opening Day on March 25.
Hollywood’s Biggest Night is also later this month; on March 15, the 2026 Academy Awards hosted by Conan O’Brien will air on ABC. On Bravo, you can tune into new seasons of “Ladies of London,” “Southern Hospitality” and “Top Chef.” “The Bachelorette,” starring “Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” standout Taylor Frankie Paul heads to ABC on March 22. The month wraps up with the iHeart Radio Music Awards, airing March 26 on FOX.
