Pop star Jessie J unleashes on fighting concert-goers: ‘Get rid of them’

Add Page Six on Google Pop star Jessie J stopped a recent show to ensure a couple of fighting concert-goers were booted from the crowd.

The British singer was performing at the Party in the Paddock festival in the UK over the weekend when a fight broke out in the crowd.

In footage posted online, Jessie was shown first appealing to those fighting to calm down – then when that didn’t work, ordering them to be removed from the audience.

“Can everyone just try and stay quiet, because the louder it is, the worse it will be,” she advised the crowd, before directing her attention to those involved in the fight.

“This is alcohol and ego; just calm down,” she instructed them.

Jessie J called for calm, telling the gig-goers not to “waste time on bad energy. Especially hitting people? Come on now, in front of children, absolutely not.

“Just calm down. Take a breath,” she advised, before acknowledging that her attempts at peacemaking weren’t working: “They’re seeing red,” she told the crowd.

At that point, a loud, expletive was heard, presumably from one of the people fighting. That appeared to be the final straw for the singer, who quickly lost her patience.

“So many people have spent money on this show, to see me, so can you just get rid of them so we can carry on?” she asked the festival security, to huge cheers from the crowd.

“Take them out, we don’t need them here. People have been waiting hours to see us. Just take them out. Get them an Uber, I’ll pay for it.”

She asked the audience to clear a path to get the rowdy patrons out as quickly as possible and finished with some cheeky advice for the security guards about how to deal with them: “Give them a glass of water and some factor-70 [sunscreen]… they need it.”

Meanwhile, Jessie J last month announced her split from her partner after five years together.

She made the announcement on Instagram, revealing that she and retired Danish-Israeli pro-basketball player Chanan Colman (not to be confused with her previous partner, actor Channing Tatum) have secretly parted ways.

“Chanan and I decided to end our romantic relationship some time ago,” she began in her post, “it has been a sad and difficult situation, but we have been focused on navigating the change privately and positively for a healthy and happy co parenting environment for our son, and ourselves.”

News of the break-up came just two months after Jessie J confirmed she was cancer-free.

She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2025 and had a mastectomy.
