2026 BMW Championship picks: PGA Tour best bets, odds, predictions for Bellerive Country Club

Add The New York Post on Google The PGA Tour’s biggest stars head to Bellerive Country Club this week for the BMW Championship.

World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler enters as a heavy favorite after a dominant performance last weekend, making the outright market difficult to attack at the top.

But there’s plenty of value all over the odds board.

Here are three BMW Championship placement picks worth considering this week.

Scheffler may be the only other golfer playing better than Burns coming into this week.

Burns was in the final pairing with Scheffler on Sunday and finished T-3 after a shaky final round.

His showing in Memphis extended one of the best stretches of his career.

Since the Memorial Tournament in early June, Burns has four total top-five finishes, plus a T-20 and T-12 finish.

The smaller field also makes this pick more appealing, with Burns only needing to beat roughly 40 players to finish top-10.

It isn’t the sexy bet, but Burns’ form of late is about as good as it gets.

Here’s another guy coming into this week in peak form.

Matsuyama is quietly putting together one of the best stretches of golf in the field.

He’s been solid all season, making the cut in every start this season, but the Japan native has taken his game to another level lately with four consecutive top-seven finishes and six straight results inside the top 14.

As long as the price stays at plus money, this is one of my favorite ways to play the BMW Championship.

Sitting 31st in the standings, Woodland enters the week with plenty to play for as he tries to improve his FedEx Cup position and advance through the postseason.

The 42-year-old still possesses the distance needed to handle Bellerive, a course where he finished T-6 during the 2018 PGA Championship.

He may not contend against a field full of heavyweights, but this price gives us enough value to accept the volatility that comes with Woodland, who could just as easily finish closer to 50th this week.

At plus money, this is a strong lower-risk way to get exposure to a player whose game fits the course and who has a ton of motivation to finish high.
