We hear that guests at the Mooch’s invitation-only Wyoming Blockchain Symposium at the Four Seasons included former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC), Sen. Cynthia Lummis (R-WY), Rep. Ritchie Torres (D-N.Y.), White House crypto advisor Patrick Witt, Comptroller of the Currency Jonathan V. Gould and Paxos CEO Charles Cascarilla.
Cuomo arrived from Beverly Hills, where he’d appeared as a guest on “Real Time With Bill Maher” and took a shot at fringe Democrats, telling the host, “You have these moderates who are just afraid of the extreme left. They’re just afraid… of the extremists, and they are placating them. And that is going to make the Tea Party of the Democratic Party, and that will make us a fringe party.”
At the Mooch’s confab the former mayoral candidate was appearing as co-chair of a joint venture between crypto giant OKX and Intercontinental Exchange, the parent company of the New York Stock Exchange.
By night, the assembled suits kicked up their heels at the ski town’s fabled Mangy Moose for a “Cowboy Jamboree,” we hear, complete with drinks, dinner and a Western DJ.
Scaramucci was profiled by the New York Times this month in a piece that said he’s now, “the host of a podcast about American politics, ‘The Rest Is Politics: US,’ with an audience that can eclipse one million per episode (much of it outside the United States) and a self-described life coach and therapist for European leaders seeking to understand President Trump, whom he now condemns.” Who knew?
