A Big Island estate that once played host to reality TV’s most infamous test of loyalty is now looking for a buyer of its own for $3.25 million, The Post has learned.
The Royal Palms Estate, a nearly 13-acre spread along Hawaii’s Hamakua Coast, served as the Casa Amor villa during Season 3 of “Love Island USA,” which shot there in 2021.
The show sent contestants to the property to tempt fate, and now the sellers are hoping its second act on the market gets just as much attention.
The four-bedroom, 5.5-bath home spans just over 3,700 square feet, wrapped in the kind of privacy that reality producers and second homebuyers alike seem to crave.
Listing agent Paul Stukin, founder and CEO of Deep Blue Hawaii, pitched the property as a standout even among the coast’s famously beautiful homes.
“This isn’t just a home, it’s one of the most special properties on this part of the island,” Stukin said.
The estate’s centerpiece is an infinity-edge pool that spills toward panoramic ocean views.
“The pool alone is one of the best I’ve seen, and paired with those ocean views, it’s hard to beat anywhere on the Hamakua Coast,” Stukin said.
Beyond its brush with reality TV fame, the property functions as a working farm.
The orchard produces more than 25,000 pounds of lychee a year alongside avocados and a rotating cast of tropical fruit.
“There’s an old donkey barn on the property dating back to the sugarcane plantation days. It’s a real piece of island history, and it gives the whole place a character you just can’t build new,” Stukin said.
Stukin said the departing sellers are ready to hand off the property, memories and all.
“My sellers have loved this home for years and made some incredible memories there, but it’s just time for them to move on. They’re excited for the new owners to enjoy it as much as they did,” Stukin said.
Season 3 was the only installment of “Love Island USA” to film in Hawaii, relocating the franchise from its usual tropical backdrops to the Big Island for a single summer before the show moved on to California and eventually settled in Fiji.
The season, hosted by Arielle Vandenberg, ran 40 days and pulled in 34 islanders across its run. Korey Gandy, a 28-year-old from Virginia Beach, and Olivia Kaiser, 29 and from Anchorage, Alaska, were crowned the winning couple on the Aug. 15, 2021 finale, taking home a $100,000 prize.
Casa Amor itself was where a rotating cast of bombshells arrived to test the original couples’ loyalty, a twist that has become the show’s signature gut punch each season.
