Alleged sicko NJ babysitter accused of sexually assaulting tot could land sweetheart deal

Add The New York Post on Google The New Jersey babysitter who allegedly posted twisted online video of a toddler looked defiant in court Monday as it surfaced she could land a sweetheart deal handing her a 10th of her potential prison sentence.

Accused kiddie-sex-assaulter Victoria Anne Cranmer, 25, appeared in the Toms River courtroom fettered in her trademark pink handcuffs and petulantly glaring at reporters as prosecutors revealed the possible plea agreement.

The proposed pact would involve the alleged nasty nanny pleading guilty to second-degree sex assault, Assistant Ocean County Prosecutor Lynn Juan said.

Juan said prosecutors would recommend that Cranmer serve a brief three-year prison sentence if she accepts the pact.

The babysitter is currently charged with second-degree sexual assault, second-degree manufacturing of child-sex-abuse material, third-degree endangering a child and third-degree possession of child-sexual-abuse material — raps that carry a total maximum of 30 years behind bars.

Cranmer allegedly sexually assaulted a girl still in diapers, recorded it and posted it to Snapchat.

As part of the proposed deal, Cranmer would also be required to register as a sex offender in accordance with Megan’s Law, would have parole supervision for life and a no-contact order with the victim, Juan said.

Cranmer’s lawyer, Connor Kane, said he was aware of the offer but hadn’t yet had the opportunity to discuss it with his client. He said he anticipates making a counter-offer.
