‘DWTS’ pro Witney Carson expecting baby No. 3 with husband Carson McAllister, returning for Season 35

Witney Carson is expecting her third baby with husband Carson McAllister.

The “Dancing With the Stars” pro announced the exciting news Monday during her appearance on “Good Morning America,” while also confirming that she’ll be returning for Season 35.

“I am expecting. So I will be dancing with this little baby right here,” she gushed while holding her stomach. “Very excited but would be lying if I said it wasn’t a little daunting. I’ve never been this far along pregnant and competing on ‘Dancing With the Stars’ before.”

“Someone the other day was like, ‘You can just hide it with some fringe and rhinestones,’ and I was just thinking, ‘I don’t want to hide it,'” she continued, referring to her pregnancy.

“I’m so proud to be a woman, to be creating life, and growing this human, and to be able to do the show and compete and be able to grow this life is such a huge blessing. I’m so proud of it, and I’m going to kick butt while doing it.”

During her Monday interview with ABC News, the reigning “DWTS” champ confessed that at first, she wasn’t sure if she could handle competing on Season 35 while being four months pregnant.

“I’ve been very, very sick this first trimester. I had to say ‘no’ and drop out of a lot of things because I was literally in bed,” Carson shared, noting that this pregnancy has been “a lot harder” than her last two.

“I honestly just couldn’t say ‘no’ to ‘Dancing With the Stars.’ I mean, how can you say no? It’s such an incredible show and it’s really having moment right now and it’s spread so much positivity and joy,” she continued.

“I love it. It’s my passion. It’s not only my passion, but it’s the way I provide for my family, provide for my children, and it’s my career. It’s my whole life. It was an easy decision at the end of the day, to do it.”

In another exciting announcement, Carson, 32, revealed that her Season 35 partner will be “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” star Guillermo Rodriguez.

“I am going to be dancing with Guillermo and I am thrilled because he just seems like the sweetest, kindest person ever.” she gushed. “I haven’t met him yet, but from what I’ve seen. I’m just really excited. He seems really fun and in this season of my life, that’s perfect. So I couldn’t have asked for a better partner this season.”

After the announcement, Carson shared a heartwarming video of her and her husband telling their two kids about their soon-to-be sibling.

“We’ve been keeping a secret… a new addition to the McAllister gang coming soon! We are so grateful and overjoyed to be growing our family 👼,” she captioned the upload.

Carson and McAllister are high school sweethearts and have been married since 2016.

They welcomed son Leo, now 5, in January 2021.

“After a really hard 24 hour labor, and an unexpected c-section… we are all healthy and well,” Carson explained via Instagram at the time.
