Harbaugh’s Ravens somehow compiled a 24-game preseason winning streak, starting in August 2016 and ending in August 2023 (there were no preseason games during the 2020 COVID summer). Every detail is not locked into his brain, but Harbaugh was fully aware how that streak was snapped.
“I know it was the Commanders and they celebrated like it was their latest Super Bowl victory,” Harbaugh said, sounding a bit bemused and still rankled.
The 29-28 loss was sealed by Joey Slye’s 49-yard field goal with nine seconds remaining.
