Add Page Six on Google Deacon Phillippe has fans asking if abs are genetic thanks to his striking resemblance to his dad, Ryan Phillippe.
Deacon, 22, modeled shirtless in a new photo shoot for clothing brand ERL based in Venice Beach, California. Designer Eli Russell Linnetz posted the shots on Instagram, in which Deacon showed off his defined abs.
The only son of Ryan and Reese Witherspoon also posed in purple jeans and a sleeveless tank top, with his hair brushed back. One shot included him rocking a matching purple hoodie, but ditching the shirt underneath.
Deacon commented on the post, “Still in the purps btw they stayed on since.”
The comments were largely positive, with fans poking fun at Deacon’s nepo baby status.
“ANOTHER day another NEPO HERE FOR THE ABS,” one comment reads.
Another fan joked, “This the nepotism I wanna see.”
One Instagram user praised, “He got both his parents elite genes 🧬.”

Also present was Deacon’s older sister, 26-year-old Ava.
Deacon channelled his famous dad in June, when he attended the “Elle” premiere alongside his mom. He recreated Ryan’s 2001 red carpet look from the “Legally Blonde” premiere, pairing a black suit with Ray-Ban sunglasses and a pink tie.
Ryan and Witherspoon were married for seven years before they split in 2006, remaining friendly co-parents to their two children.
The “I Know What You Did Last Summer” star talked about his son’s resemblance to him back in September 2021, humbly telling E! News that Deacon “is “way better looking than I am.”
He added, “Obviously, there is a father-son resemblance, but he actually looks a lot more like Reese’s side of the family. Ava looks more like mine.”
