Several homes have been destroyed in a massive fire in south Wales.
Residents were evacuated after the blaze involving five bungalows on Hazlewood Road, Newbridge, in Caerphilly county, with people moved to a nearby leisure centre following the fire on Wednesday afternoon. There are no reports of casualties.
Councillor Adrian Hussey said some people had lost their homes and were being offered temporary accommodation.
He said residents tried to put out the fire but had to evacuate because it was so severe.
"The houses were absolutely gutted. Their cars were damaged too," he said.
"The streets around the area were all evacuated and people went to the leisure centre."

Newbridge councillor Gary Johnston told BBC Radio Wales Breakfast on Thursday that the county council would support people affected by the fire "in any way we can".
"The council will be looking at what we can do for them, to get these families somewhere to stay," he said.
First Minister Rhun ap Iorwerth thanked emergency services and told Radio Cymru Dros Frecwast that his sympathies were with "everyone affected", and "especially those who have had to leave their homes because of this fire."
Newbridge RFC said the club was "absolutely heartbroken" in a post on social media.
On Thursday morning it offered hot and cold drinks, as well as changing and shower facilities for "anyone who needs it".
South Wales Fire and Rescue Service received a call-out on Wednesday at 16:00 BST.
The Welsh Ambulance Service also sent a specialist team and two ambulances.
"Members of the public are urged to stay away from the area to allow emergency services to operate safely," said the fire service.
