Sara Daniels, 36, is facing child abuse charges after her three children — ages 14, 11 and 9 — told authorities their mother physically hurt them and threatened their lives, sometimes in a drug-fueled rage, WDTV reported.
Each of the children separately recounted a horrifying incident in which Daniels chased the 14-year-old daughter with a knife, with the 9-year-old telling interviewers their mother yelled “I’ll cut your brother and sister’s throat if you leave,” according to court documents.
They also described a time when Daniels and her boyfriend were using drugs and rammed their vehicles into each other, nearly hitting the 9-year-old.
The children revealed the disturbing details in interviews with officials in May at the Child Advocacy Center in Elkins.
Daniels’ kids additionally accused her of once coldly telling her teenage daughter she “wished she would have died,” according to the documents.
The sick mom allegedly said she would help her daughter kill herself, court documents say.
The interviewer also noted a scar on the 11-year-old that the child said was inflicted when Daniels banged her head against a door.
Daniels was charged Friday with three counts of child abuse resulting in injury and strangulation, jail records show.
She was being held at the Tygart Valley Regional Jail on a $30,000 cash-only bond.
The West Virginia State Police did not immediately respond to The Post’s request for additional information.
