Bills acquiring DJ Moore from Bears in trade stunner

Buffalo is acquiring wide receiver DJ Moore from the Bears, ESPN’s Adam Schefter first reported Thursday.

Chicago is receiving “mid-round pick compensation,” according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

Buffalo fired head coach Sean McDermott after losing to the Broncos in overtime in the divisional round and promoted offensive coordinator Joe Brady to be its new coach.

The Bills had been monitoring A.J. Brown amid rumors the Eagles could trade him, according to NFL Network, but Buffalo made its move for Moore and hopes he can put their offense over the top.
