Add The California Post on Google Each World Cup, it seems a handful of soccer player break through to become global superstars. During the 2026 tournament, one of those players was undoubtedly Norway striker Erling Haaland.
The 26 year old scored seven goals during the tournament and led Norway to the quarterfinal. His extraordinary success, imposing physical stature, running style and hilarious sense of humor and personality made Haaland into one of the world’s most beloved athletes.
Now that the World Cup is over, Haaland is able to enjoy the fruits of his labor — which he’s doing by vacationing alongside his longtime girlfriend, Isabel Haugseng Johansen.
A recent couple’s trip to a Jennifer Lopez concert in Sicily yielded a hilarious moment, which was captured on Haaland’s YouTube vlog Saturday.
While at the concert, Johansen was speaking to male actor Michele Morrone while Haaland watched. The striker said he, “still gets jealous though,” before jokingly pretending to interrupt Johansen and Morrone’s conversation.
“Not that close!” Haaland said, laughing. He then added that he thought Morrone was a “top guy,” and the two were seen sitting next to each other at dinner moments later.
Even if he wasn’t just joking, it’s hard to imagine Haaland would ever have anything to worry about regarding Johansen. Not only have they been together since childhood and have a son together, but Haaland’s skyrocketing stardom has also made Johansen much more famous.
It would be foolish for Johansen to jeopardize all of that, which is why Haaland’s “jealous” response will most likely never be anything more than a joke.
