Jessie James Decker’s request for baby No. 5 makes husband Eric flee

Eric Decker jokingly fled from his wife, Jessie James Decker, when she asked him to have a fifth child.

“Texted my husband asking to have another baby,” she wrote atop an Instagram Reel of him lounging lakeside on Sunday.

As soon as The former NFL star read the message, he hopped in a kayak and paddled away from her as she jokingly pleaded for him to come back.

“I guess that’s a maybe? 🙃🤣,” the singer captioned the playful video.

“He’s running away hahaha😂😂😂” one fan wrote in the comments section.

“Girl he said let me get away from you! Lol,” another quipped.

A third added, “I think it’s a maybe 🤔 he just needs a minute to process it 🤣🤣”

The athlete, notably, got a vasectomy after years of refusing the surgery and welcoming his fourth child with Jessie in 2024.

“I survived,” the 39-year-old told his Instagram followers following the procedure.

The “Dancing With the Stars” alum, 38, had been vocal about her desire for her husband to get a vasectomy since 2021.

In 2023, the “Wanted” songstress told Us Weekly that her husband refused to get the procedure because he feared it would take away his “manhood.”

“He won’t. He just won’t do it,” Jessie said, noting that she “keep[s] asking him to go make that appointment.”

Seven months later, the couple — who have been married since 2012 — announced Jessie was pregnant with baby No. 4.

They welcomed their son Denver in February 2024, who joined older siblings Vivianne, 12, Eric Jr., 10, and Forrest, 8.

Before giving birth to the little one, the entrepreneur made it clear that she did not plan to expand her family any further.

“[That’s] not even a question,” she insisted to Us Weekly in September, claiming she was “good with four.”
