Firefighters are tackling a vehicle fire which has closed a stretch of main road through the New Forest in Hampshire.
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service said it was dealing with the blaze on the A31 near Ringwood on Sunday evening.
The service said the fire had spread into the central reservation, whilst locals reported seeing it extend into nearby bushes.
The A31 has been closed in both directions whilst the M27 is shut at junction two, with motorists being advised to avoid the area and find alternative routes.
