Disruption because of a runway defect at Bristol Airport has continued into a second day, with flights still suspended.
Hundreds of passengers were left stranded on Friday evening after the decision was made to close the runway shortly after 18:00 BST.
All flights has been suspended until 06:00 on Saturday, but this has now been extended to 08:00.
In a short statement on the airport website, a spokesperson said: "We apologise for any inconvenience. Safety is always our number one priority."

No further official information about the nature of the defect has been released.
A number of people spoke to the BBC on Friday evening about their experience at the airport - among them Paul Smith, who was due to fly to Glasgow for his son's 20th birthday but had to cancel his trip.
"The communication, advice and support for passengers has been really poor," he said.
There were no announcements on the tannoy system for over an hour, he said, which meant EasyJet reps in the departure lounge were the only source of information.
"What we've heard is that there's a hole in the runway."
