Maybe that explains the unexplainable: How does a receiver who had 10 career catches in six college seasons at Louisiana and zero as an undrafted rookie last season lead the Giants in how’d-he-do-that moments during training camp?

“You have to envision yourself making those plays whenever you are not practicing,” Cambre said. “I go crazy sitting on the couch thinking, ‘What if I do this? What if I do this?’ Whenever I go to a workout, whether it be the offseason, on my own or practice, and you have that opportunity, I’ve already thought about it, so you are going out there like, ‘I already did this in my mind, I can do this in real life.’ ”
The Giants outbid the Panthers after the 2025 draft to sign Cambre as a potential special-teamer with experience as a gunner, holder, emergency kicker and emergency punter.
