Brittany Cartwright’s former publicist, Lori Krebs, gave her a last-minute heads-up about her relationship with her estranged husband, Jax Taylor, before it made headlines.
“She sent me a text message morning of — two hours before the TMZ photos came out — and let me know ‘things have changed’ and that she knows I will feel betrayed,” Cartwright, 37, revealed on Wednesday’s episode of “Watch What Happens Live.”
The Bravolebrity then recalled Krebs telling her how much she loves her and her 5-year-old son, Cruz, whom she shares with Taylor, before insisting that “she’s never told Jax anything” discussed during their years of friendship and time working together.
Cartwright also confirmed that Krebs “was still” her publicist, got a retainer from her and made a 10 percent profit from her.
“She was still my friend — family basically,” the “Valley” star insisted.
During the conversation, Cartwright also slammed Taylor’s claim that she and Krebs hadn’t been friends for more than a year.
“I had just invited her to Fourth of July cookout at my house, and now they’re trying to say we haven’t been friends for a year and a half,” she said, noting that Krebs had joined her during her April 15 appearance on “WWHL.”
“The lies are insane. To try to flip the image and make them look better. It’s never going to look better.”
Cartwright maintained that while she expects nothing less from her ex, she was shocked by Krebs’ betrayal — especially since the LoriK Public Relations founder helped her through the darkest times of her marriage.
“She was my family member, the person I went to whenever I was being abused in that relationship. I cried on her shoulders,” she said.
“She knows everything. She knows he manipulates and love bombs, and she still chose that over me and all of her friendships, her job, her family. She chose it over everything, knowing his personality. It was so heartbreaking for me.”

As for Taylor — who Cartwright split from in February 2024 — she claimed he “harasses” her via their co-parenting app “constantly.”
“He just kind of fights with himself on there,” the “Vanderpump Rules” alum said, which sent the audience into hysterics.
Shortly after her comments on “WWHL,” Taylor responded to her interview via Instagram, writing per Us Weekly, “The amount of blatant lies in this interview is unbelievable.”
Last month, Taylor was seen cozying up to Krebs in steamy vacation photos. In the pictures obtained by TMZ, the two were seen holding each other intimately as they swam in the pool at a resort in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
Krebs, notably, served as the publicist for both Taylor, 47, and Cartwright for over a decade and was a trusted professional and friend.
After the photos of Taylor and Krebs surfaced, a source exclusively told Page Six that the latter “has always inserted herself into moments that should be about her clients” but that she has now “crossed a line she cannot come back from.”
Last week, Taylor confirmed he is “taken,” though he did not name his new romantic partner.
