Cubs acquiring Kevin Gausman from Blue Jays as they bolster rotation at trade deadline

Add The New York Post on Google The Cubs have added right-hander Kevin Gausman in a trade with the Blue Jays, The Post’s Jon Heyman confirmed.

The deal broke shortly after 9 p.m. and less than 24 hours before the MLB trade deadline arrives.

The move adds another arm to the Cubs’ rotation that has playoff experience and a 4.38 ERA in 23 starts this season.
