Corey Sipkin for the NY POST WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, W.Va. — No, Braxton Berrios did not return to New York for access to the glamorous lifestyle afforded to him as one of the NFL’s most sought-after boyfriends.
Berrios, a former Jet who signed with the Giants out of a tryout in June, is showing during training camp that he still can be a soft-hands security receiver and shifty returner for a team in search of both.

“I keep the first things first: Surprisingly, I’m pretty private, pretty low-key,” Berrios said with a laugh after a recent practice at The Greenbrier Resort. “It tends sometimes not to be that way, but I’m all-ball. I dream of doing this. I’ve been a ballplayer my whole life. It’s the only thing I want to do.”
Berrios was limited by injuries to a combined six catches in 10 games for the 2024 Dolphins and 2025 Texans. He is battling Odell Beckham Jr., JuJu Smith-Schuster, Calvin Austin and others to round out a receiving corps led by Malik Nabers, Darius Slayton, Malachi Fields and Darnell Mooney.
