Deion Sanders hints at ‘new toes’ during Shedeur exchange at Browns camp

Add The California Post on Google Deion Sanders is no stranger to making headlines with his words. He’s also no stranger to making headlines with his toes — or lack thereof.

Sanders had to get two toes on his left foot amputated in 2021, which was the result of blood clots that were the result of a previous surgery. That wasn’t the end of the Colorado head coach’s health worries, as he had to undergo a surgery last year to address blood clots in his leg.

Deion Sanders has had several surgeries in the last decade. AP The 58-year-old also underwent surgery to remove his cancerous bladder earlier this year.

Sanders has recovered well enough from these procedures to spend the college football offseason with his NFL quarterback son, Shedeur, at the Browns’ training camp.

And a post Deion made to his Instagram on Saturday is sure to turn heads. He and Shedeur were bantering after a Browns practice, when Shedeur looked down to his dad’s foot and said it was “looking flat.”

Deion and Shedeur Sanders chat during Browns training camp. “Guess what? I got some new toes coming, though,” Deion responded. Shedeur then asked whether he had them on, to which Deion replied that he didn’t.

“New toes coming soon,” the post was captioned.

View this post on Instagram Shedeur’s response suggested that he was already aware about these “new toes” his dad is referring to, which might be some sort of prosthetic.

Or perhaps Deion and Shedeur are just trolling. Regardless, it will be interesting to see what type of “new toes” Deion might tout in the weeks to come.
