Add The California Post on Google A F-35 aircraft was involved in an accident at the Miramar Air Base in San Diego Friday morning, sending up a plume of black smoke.
Emergency crews have responded to the area and the charred remnants of the aircraft are visible, according to KGTV. The incident happened around 10 a.m., according to officials.
It’s unclear what started the fire or if anyone is injured.
