A year removed from being their first-round pick, Mitch Voit has started to emerge as a terrific athlete who is proving himself up the middle defensively and with a bat that is taking steps.
Those steps led to Double-A Binghamton, which is where Voit was promoted Monday after a strong stretch with High-A Brooklyn.
