Truck driver stuck in vehicle after smashing into building on Pacific Coast Highway

Authorities said the truck rammed into a single story commercial building on the 14800 block of Pacific Coast Highway around 11:30 a.m, leaving the vehicle’s cab portion crushed.

No occupants are reported to be inside the business, which was struck,” the Los Angeles Fire Department said in a statement.

Authorities said that the age and gender of the truck driver are unknown at the moment but the individual is expected to be transported to a local hospital.

“No occupants are reported to be inside the business,” LAFD added.

Investigators are still working to determine what caused the crash.
