AP Photo/Chris Carlson Training camp began for the Giants on Wednesday, and with it, so too did another year of hopes and buzz for a team that has made just two trips to the playoffs in the 14 seasons since their last Super Bowl triumph.
Instead of hosting training camp in East Rutherford — as the Quest Diagnostics Training Center undergoes renovations — the team will be situated at The Greenbrier resort in West Virginia.
It’s many miles away from the team’s typical digs. And Giants brass will hope there is a similar departure from the team’s recent struggles now that John Harbaugh is in charge.
