Add Page Six on Google Actor Tom Chadbon, known for his roles in “Game Of Thrones” and “Doctor Who” has died.
Fantom Events, a publishing and events company the actor worked with, confirmed the 80-year-old’s passing in a social media post Monday.
“We are sorry to hear the news that Tom Chadbon passed away last weekend,” the statement read. “Tom was a familiar face to many from his numerous television and film credits, including ‘Doctor Who,’ ‘James Bond’ and ‘Game Of Thrones.'”

Chadbon, who was born in Luton, in Bedfordshire, had a television career spanning almost 50 years, and also made an appearance in Daniel Craig’s first “James Bond” film, “Casino Royale.”
Additionally, Chadbon appeared opposite Tom Baker in the 1979 “Doctor Who” story “City of Death,” which drew more than 16 million viewers and remains the most-watched episode in the show’s history.
He returned to “Doctor Who” in the smaller role as Merdeen in the 1986 serial “The Trial of a Time Lord.”
His last television appearance came in the Season 7 finale of “Game of Thrones” in 2017, in which he played High Septon Maynard.
