Add The New York Post on Google Haunting new bodycam footage shows the moment when horrified police officers discovered the bodies of the four murdered University of Idaho students — as convicted killer Bryan Kohberger now claims he’s innocent.
The footage, revealed in the trailer for an upcoming Netflix documentary, shows an officer rushing into the Moscow, Idaho, home and calmly going upstairs, past a living room full of empty bottles and solo cups, into a bedroom on the second floor.
“F–k,” is all the officer can utter when he sees the butchered bodies of Xana Kernodle and Ethan Chapin, who had both been stabbed dozens of times.
Officers then went up to the third floor, where they discovered Madison Mogen and Kaylee Goncalves also knifed to death, the footage shows.
“F–k, dude,” one officer says, according to the clip.
“We’re gonna need everybody. We got four deceased,” an officer later says over the radio.
Other photos from the scene show dried blood in the kitchen sink.
Moscow police Capt. Roger Lanier told reporters after the grisly killings it was the first homicide in the small city in seven years and the first “major crime scene” many of his younger officers had ever seen.
The chilling body-camera footage was revealed in the trailer for the new documentary series “The Idaho Murders: College Nightmare,” which comes out on Netflix Wednesday.
The brief trailer also previewed chilling police interviews with roommates Dylan Mortenson and Bethany Funke, who lived on the first floor and survived the late-night massacre.
The two texted each other early that November morning in 2022, just minutes after Kohberger crept out of their home in Moscow, Idaho, leaving four dead bodies behind.
“I heard her scream. She saw someone,” a panicked Funke tells police.
Mortensen came face to face with the killer just before he slunk out of the college house.
Kohberger, a criminology Ph.D. student at the nearby Washington State University, confessed to killing the four last year.
As part of the plea deal, he was sentenced to four consecutive life sentences but spared from the firing squad he could have faced if he was convicted at trial.
However, in a shocking about-face, Kohberger revealed from prison this week that he has filed a petition to challenge his conviction, just one year after confessing to the killings.
He claims he was deceived into agreeing to the guilty plea deal because of “false promises and blatant disinformation” and has insisted on his “absolute claim of innocence.”
Goncalves’ father said he would “love” for the convicted killer over what he described as a “second shot at the accused murderer.”
“I would love for us to be able to re-line him up and hold him accountable to the full extent of what he’s done,” Steve Goncalves told NewsNation Monday night.
