AP Photo/Ian Maule With NBA summer leagues in the rearview mirror, now is an appropriate time to evaluate the good, the bad and the ugly of the Nets’ offseason, assess the winners, losers and incompletes of this summer.

The Nets will attempt to take a step forward this season without mortgaging future assets in a rushed leap. After two years of tanking, a generally positive offseason should see the Nets move closer toward if not contention at least competence.

But what are the bright spots, and question marks of that offseason?

• The biggest winner is undoubtedly Egor Dëmin.
