Coach Aaron Glenn and GM Darren Mougey performed an overhaul of the team this offseason, from the coaching staff to the players. Here are five players we are watching in camp:
There are massive expectations for a player taken No. 2 overall. Can Bailey have an immediate impact off the edge and improve the dismal defense of a year ago? That will be one of the keys to the season.
It will be fascinating to see how Aaron Glenn plans on using Bailey and Will McDonald in his defense. There are questions about both defending the run, so he may want to not use them together on running downs.
In a perfect world, the Jets won’t have to see Klubnik, a fourth-round pick from Clemson, play at all this season. But he is going to be an intriguing player to watch this summer. He impressed in the spring before back stiffness forced him to sit out the end. He could win the backup job with a strong camp and preseason.
