Pamela Anderson makes surprising claim about ‘Baywatch’ reboot nearly 30 years after leaving original show

Add Page Six on Google Pamela Anderson revealed Friday that no one involved with Fox’s upcoming “Baywatch” reboot has reached out to her about making a cameo.

“No one’s reached out to me,” she told Deadline. “I don’t know much about it.”

However, the 59-year-old said producers did approach her sons, Brandon and Dylan Lee — whom she shares with ex-husband Tommy Lee — about getting involved behind the scenes.

“I know that they were talking to my sons at some point about producing, but I don’t think they had a meeting of the minds,” she explained. “I’m not sure what happened there, but I wish them well.”

The “Last Showgirl” star, who played iconic lifeguard C.J. Parker for five seasons from 1992 to 1997, said she has no desire to return to the beach.

“It was a great job, and I loved going to work every day on the beach,” she said. “I would have been there anyway.”

Reflecting on the role that launched her to international fame, Anderson added that “everything I’ve done has led me to here,” but made it clear she has “no plans” to revisit the franchise.

When asked whether she’d be interested in seeing where C.J. Parker ended up decades later, Anderson admitted she might have been more open if her sons had been part of the project.

“If my kids were involved, I probably would have listened to them,” she said.

Instead, Anderson said she’s focused on taking on new challenges rather than revisiting the past.

“I think I’ve just got to keep on seeing what else is out there,” she explained. “I’ve already done that. Now is my time to really play with different characters.”

The actress added that she’s considering returning to the stage and wants to make “really bold choices.”

“I want to surprise people. I want to surprise myself. And so I’m trying to do things I haven’t done in the past.”

A rep for Fox did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

Anderson’s comments come months after original “Baywatch” stars David Chokachi, Kelly Packard and Michael Bergin were spotted filming scenes for the reboot in Venice, California. Shauni McClain is also set to reprise her role.

The new series stars Brooks Nader, Shay Mitchell and Stephen Amell — who will play an adult Hobie Buchannon — and is slated to premiere in January 2027.

The original “Baywatch” aired for 11 seasons from 1989 to 2001.
