After an exhilarating, extended stint with Dead and Company, the seven-time Grammy winner will go the solo route when he takes the stage at Uncasville, CT’s Mohegan Sun Arena on Friday, Oct. 9.

In the event you can’t make Mayer’s gig in the Constitutional State, he will be at Buddy Guy’s 90th birthday concert at NYC’s Radio City Music Hall on Thursday, Oct. 1.
Other biggies joining the legendary bluesman that evening include Eric Clapton, Jon Batiste, Joe Bonamassa, Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top, Gary Clark Jr. and more.
Prior to these shows — and his run with Dead and Company — Mayer last played a full show all by his lonesome in Bahrain on Feb. 13.
According to Set List FM, he performed 20 songs that evening including stone-cold fan favorites “Gravity,” “New Light,” “Slow Dancing in a Burning Room,” “You’re Gonna Live Forever in Me” and “Love on the Weekend.”
“Switching between acoustic and electric guitars, Mayer played with a calm confidence that can only come from decades of mastery,” Live For Live Music wrote after seeing the talented axeman at the Rise Festival in October 2025.
