The guy who leaked details from Taylor Swift’s wedding made $15 million in 2025.
AMC Theatres CEO Adam Aron got a 30% raise last year, the company disclosed yesterday in an SEC filing. That translated to $14.97 million, up from the $11.3 million he made in 2024.
Aron has run the theater chain for a decade, but is largely unknown outside theatrical exhibition circles.
That all changed over July Fourth weekend when Aron, 71, posted on X a lengthy report from Swift’s top-secret Madison Square Garden wedding to NFL star Travis Kelce.
“It was such a privilege to be THERE,” the exec eagerly posted, adding, “Having been in Taylor Swift‘s orbit since AMC first took her Eras Tour movie to theaters globally in 2023, and with AMC’s headquarters ironically located in Kansas City home to the Chiefs, I saw early on that true romance was at hand.”
He told the world, “a new era in that romantic story commenced” at the hush-hush VIP nups.
Perhaps the least famous guest at the starry ceremony then gave a first-hand blow-by-blow account of the wedding, telling his followers that, “It did not look like Madison Square Garden. Immediately upon entry, everything… floors, walls, ceiling… was draped in peach and white. Large blown up pictures of Taylor and Travis at each age, year by year, from one year-old to late teenager-hood, were on display.”
He mused that, “Real flowers and I think artificial trees welcomed fifteen rows of maybe 75 or so chairs. They say there were around one thousand attendees, but surprisingly, it all felt intimate and small. Everything was close.”
He then ran down deets on the music, vows, what the bride and groom wore, their first kiss, the food and drink and more. (Though he did not dish that Adam Sandler was the officiant.)
Aron later deleted the post, which was by far the most detailed account of the world’s biggest wedding. “Congrats to ‘Trav and Tay-tay,’” Aron concluded.
The wedding reportedly required guests to sign NDAs.
Meanwhile the box office is having an up year thanks to hits like Christopher Nolan‘s current release, “The Odyssey.”
