Add Page Six on Google Influencer Nara Smith announced in a heartfelt Instagram video that her 2-year-old daughter, Whimsy Lou, is now in remission.
“I just wanted to come on here and say thank you so, so much for all your kind messages, prayers, support. It truly has meant so, so much to us,” she told her followers on Friday, while holding a teacup and sitting in a field of flowers.
“Lucky and I have been going through this and processing it for the last eight months, and we were debating on even sharing such a private part of our life,” she added, referencing her husband, musician Lucky Blue Smith.
The lifestyle influencer shared that she’d decided to share an update “now that [Whimsy] is finally in remission” and that she hopes to “shed light on what so many families go through and battle privately.”
Nara, 24, said that “going through chemo treatments opened [her] eyes to how expensive medical care is and what a toll it takes on families, specifically.”
The mom of four shared that she would be posting links meant to “help families” going through similar ordeals.
“Lucky and I have been trying to return to everyday life and taking it day by day,” she continued. “I don’t know whether life will ever feel normal again. But we’re trying to navigate this next chapter the best that we can.”
Nara concluded by thanking her fans for their “kindness” and sending her “love to families who are actively still going through this fight.”
Nara announced earlier this month via social media that her third child, Whimsy Lou, had been diagnosed with cancer “late last year” and that there was “no easy way to say [it] or talk about” it.
The TikTok star told fans that she and Lucky had taken their daughter to the emergency room after noticing “something suspicious,” after which they visited a pediatrician, who then told them to visit a children’s hospital.

“My heart dropped in that moment,” she recalled. “I don’t know whether it was my gut telling me something or just a mom’s intuition, but the first thing that I felt was, ‘She has cancer.'”
Nara said that after “a lot of X-rays, ultrasounds and finally a biopsy, they immediately called us and said that she had cancer. [They] told us it had spread and that she need[ed] to come and start chemo treatments immediately.”
At the time, Nara did not provide further details, and explained that “processing this and navigating all of this as a family has been really hard.”
“We wanted to share this to … even incentivize you to go get something checked out that you’ve been avoiding,” Nara concluded her post.
A couple of days later, she shared a glimpse of Whimsy, her bare head covered in gems, calling her their “little warrior girl🎀” — as well as a snapshot of the child’s shorn curls on what appeared to be a bathroom countertop.
On July 7, she shared in another emotional post that her toddler was regrowing her hair after undergoing chemotherapy.
“If sharing these pieces of our story helps even one family feel less alone, or encourages one person to learn more about childhood cancer, then this vulnerable part of our lives is worth opening,” she wrote in part. “Today her curls are returning🤍.”
Nara also shares daughter Rumble Honey, 5, son Slim Easy, 4, and daughter Fawnie Golden, who was born in late 2025, with Lucky. Lucky also shares daughter Gravity, 8, with ex Stormi Bree.
