Tyler Robinson spent weeks plotting Charlie Kirk assassination, asked trans lover about engraver tool for bullets: bombshell recording

Add The New York Post on Google Accused killer Tyler Robinson spent weeks plotting how he would murder Charlie Kirk and even engraved the ammunition he used, a bombshell recording from his trans lover that was aired in court Thursday revealed.

Lance Twiggs, Robinson’s ex-roommate and lover, told investigators in a pre-recorded deposition that Robinson asked if they had a Dremel engraver tool a month before he gunned down the conservative Turning Point USA co-founder because he wanted to “create messages on bullets.”

“I don’t remember exactly when, but he had said he was planning to go hunting with his family,” Twiggs said in a clip shown at the preliminary hearing.

“And he asked me … if we had, like, a Dremel … because he said he wanted to create messages on bullets.”

On Thursday, prosecutors showed those engravings found on the ammunition recovered near the rifle allegedly used in Kirk’s gruesome assassination — with the gun itself loaded with a round that read, “Notices Bulge.”

Other ammunition was labeled “Hey fascist” and “Catch.” Another cartridge read, “O bella ciao,” and another was engraved with “ciao ciao.”

Robinson also allegedly admitted to Twiggs that he had been planning to kill Kirk at the Turning Point USA event at Utah Valley University on Sept. 10, 2025, for over a week, according to a text message chain.

“If I am able to grab my rifle unseen, I will have left no evidence … going to attempt to retrieve it again, hopefully they have moved on,” Robinson said. “I haven’t seen anything in the news about them finding it. will update you by midnight.”

“Alright,” Twiggs said. “Stay safe.”

“How long have you been planning this?” Twiggs added in a separate message.

“A bit over a week I believe. I can get close to it but there is a squad car parked right by it,” Robinson replied.

”I think they already swept that spot, but I don’t wanna chance it.”
