Bystanders and first responders rushed to pull the victim from the flames, likely saving his life, following the unhinged attack near the Oklahoma City Police Department headquarters last Thursday.
Police in Oklahoma City arrested a man who allegedly threw a Molotov cocktail at another man in a wheelchair on Thursday, July 2. The suspect then shoves the wheelchair as nearby detective and witness run to help to the victim, the video shows.
The man in the wheelchair is expected to make a full recovery, cops said.
The suspect, Alexander Emery, was apprehended by officers stationed nearby moments after the assault, KOCO News reported.
Police say Emery admitted to targeting the victim at random.
