Eagles extend Vegas Sphere residency into December. Get discounted tickets

Add The California Post on Google The Eagles started their ‘Long Goodbye Farewell Tour’ way back in July 2023.

Three years later, they’ve yet to officially call it quits.

Due to overwhelming demand, the Rock Hall of Famers announced they’re extending their ongoing, record-breaking Las Vegas Sphere residency once again with four more shows set to take place in December 2026 added to their itinerary.

Their 65th through 68th gigs at the visually-spectacular venue are slated to take place:

Friday, Dec. 48:30 p.m.Saturday, Dec. 58:30 p.m.Friday, Dec. 118:30 p.m.Saturday, Dec. 128:30 p.m.

Prior to this quartet of concerts, Don Henley, Joe Walsh, Deacon Frey, Timothy B. Schmit, Vince Gill and co. have six shows at Sphere spanning from mid-September to late November.

Based on our findings at Set List FM, the classic rockers perform fan favorites like “Hotel California,” “Life In The Fast Lane,” “Lyin’ Eyes,” “Take It Easy” and “Desperado” as well as Henley and Walsh solo hits (think “Boys of Summer” and “Rocky Mountain Way”) every night of the residency.

“t’s a simply magnificent show, leaving you awestruck; the visuals are fantastic and they really add to the experience,” Americana UK wrote in a review of a February ’26 performance.

“…[there are] examples of video recordings on video sharing platforms of the concerts at the Sphere, but they can’t do justice to the quality and scale of the offering, nor can they provide anything like the jaw dropping experience of witnessing a performance at the venue.”

Don’t miss this Sin City show- these just might really be the final ‘Long Goodbye’ concerts.

When Henley and the band aren’t lighting up the Sphere stage, many other exciting shows are headed to Vegas’ premier entertainment destination.

Here’s what’s up next at the one-of-a-kind venue.

Even though there won’t be any more Eagles shows come summer time, band member Vince Gill will hit the road all by his lonesome on a solo run he’s calling the ’50 Years From Home Tour’ from now through August.

If you’d like to see him croon live, tickets for all 2026 Vince Gill shows can be found here.

When you’ve been “taking it to the limit” since 1971, there’s bound to be a bit of shakeup in your group.

Still, after 50+ years together, 78-year-old founding member Don Henley (drums, vocals, also known for the timeless ’80s smash “Boys of Summer), continues to head the group.

At all Sphere dates, he’s joined by 78-year-old Joe Walsh (who also fronted The James Gang), 78-year-old Timothy B. Schmit (bassist and vocalist who played with Poco), 22-time Grammy winner Vince Gill and the late Glenn Frey’s 30-something son, Deacon.

Past members that are no longer with the band include Frey (who passed away in 2016) and Randy Meisner (he left this mortal coil in 2023). Bernie Leadon is still alive but hasn’t played with the band since 2016. As for guitarist Don Felder, he recently toured with Styx and REO Speedwagon’s Kevin Cronin, although The Post reported he suffered a medical emergency at a show in 2025.

Over the course of the group’s half-century together, The Eagles have received six Grammy Awards, performed over 1,000 concerts, and sold over 150 million albums.

After doing a bit of digging, our team found that there are plenty of venerable vets from way back when to go around this year and next.

Here are just five of our favorite, can’t-miss, throwback icons from that might be headed to a venue near you.
