Add Page Six on Google Awards season is coming.
Before the 2026 Emmy nominations were announced Wednesday via a live stream presented by “The Bear” star Liza Colón-Zayas, “Widow’s Bay” actor Jeff Hiller and Television Academy Chair Cris Abrego, the first two categories were unveiled on the “Today” show.
To be eligible for the 78th Primetime Emmy Awards, shows needed to have aired between June 1, 2025, and May 31, 2026.
The 2026 Emmys — hosted by “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” star Mariska Hargitay from the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles — will air Sept. 14 at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
The actress, notably, is the first woman to host the awards show in 15 years.
