A 21-year-old was near West 10th Street and 5th Avenue around 4:40 a.m. on June 27 when an unidentified man approached her, according to the NYPD.

The woman was transported to a local hospital in stable condition after he fled the scene, authorities added.
Cops released several photos of the suspect, who has a beard and mustache, wearing a white t-shirt, light blue pants and carrying a green jacket in the subway.
The man fled the scene after the terrifying assault at knifepoint. The intersection where the terrifying attack unfolded is just blocks from Washington Square Park, by a stretch of luxe apartment buildings.
