Add The New York Post on Google Erika Kirk left court Monday as a former campus police officer described seeing her husband, Turning Point USA founder Charlie, killed last September — kicking off an emotional week of testimony.
Kirk was seen leaving the courtroom as Officer Chris Bagley described hearing a rifle shot and watching Charlie Kirk collapse during an event on the campus of Utah Valley University.
Judge Tony Graf emphasized that attendees may return to court once they had left, when court reconvened.
The hearing, which will continue through this week, will determine if the evidence against 23-year-old Tyler Robinson is strong enough to go to trial.
