Add The New York Post on Google On what was supposed to be a day of injury relief around the Yankees, yet another concern cropped up.
The Yankees officially activated Trent Grisham and Ryan McMahon from the IL on Friday but moved Carlos Rodón to the shelf with left elbow inflammation.
The concern level around Rodón’s elbow, which required a procedure this offseason to remove loose bodies and shave down a bone spur, was not immediately clear.

Rodón, who has made nine starts and owns a 3.30 ERA, was expected to pitch Saturday.
Because of Thursday’s off day, the Yankees could simply move each starter up a day, shifting Ryan Weathers from Sunday to Saturday and pitch on regular rest rather than five days rest, or they could summon a starter from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre or turn to Ryan Yarbrough or Paul Blackburn.
With SWB, Brendan Beck, who pitched Saturday, could be on turn.
To make room for Grisham and McMahon, Oswaldo Cabrera was optioned.
