Add The California Post on Google Despite the upset Jannik Sinner suffered during the French Open earlier this year, it would be hard to bet against the Italian tennis star to win this year’s Wimbledon tournament.
Sinner is the world’s No. 1-ranked player and was on a historic run before that unexpected French Open defeat. He has already won five tournaments this year and is the defending Wimbledon champion. Plus, his biggest rival, Carlos Alcaraz, isn’t competing this year because he’s on the mend from a wrist injury, which gives Sinner an even clearer path to repeating.
But before Sinner can think about hoisting the Gentlemen’s Singles Trophy, he has to beat the USA’s Jenson Brooksby in the third round July 3. And nobody will root harder for Sinner than his girlfriend, Danish model and influencer Laila Hasanovic.
These two have been together for over a year, and Hasanovic makes a point to appear at all of Sinner’s matches when doing so doesn’t conflict with her own busy career.
What’s for sure is that Hasanovic is causing a stir with her most recent Instagram post, which arrived on July 2. She was seen posing on what looked to be a boat, wearing an eye-catching black dress.
The post was captioned, “a black dress and a sunset. 10/10”.
Hasanovic is a 10/10 in the photo and in her everyday life.
If Hasanovic isn’t in England now, it’s safe to assume she’ll head there as soon as her schedule allows, especially if Sinner advances to the late stages of Wimbledon, which everybody in the tennis community believes he will.
