The USMNT are playing Belgium in the World Cup round of 16. Get tickets

Add The California Post on Google Country Roads, take us to the Pacific Northwest.

After a gutsy 2-0 win over Bosnia and Herzegovina — they finished the game with just ten players on the field — Malik Tillman’s USMNT will go foot-to-foot with Kevin De Bruyne’s Belgium in a highly-anticipated round of 16 World Cup match at Seattle’s Lumen Field on Monday, July 6.

If you’d like to be there to root on the Stars and Stripes (and, of course, sing “Take Me Home, Country Roads”) or scream yourself hoarse for the Red Devils, last-minute tickets are still available.

At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find on seats was $2,353 including fees on SeatGeek.

Mauricio Pochettino’s club comes into this match at a bit of a disadvantage. Due to a controversial red card, star Folarin Balogun has been suspended one game and won’t be playing on Monday.

“For me? Never a red card. Never an intention to step on the player,” Pochettino said about the play that ousted Balogun after the round of 32 victory.

“It was a normal action in football that happened by accident.”

Still, even without the 24-year-old phenom on the pitch, The Post reported that “oddsmakers at DraftKings have the USA as -130 favorites to qualify for the quarterfinals and get past Belgium.”

As fans of the Yanks may recall, the Belgians beat the USMNT 5-2 in a March 2026 friendly. Going back further than that, The Red Devils won in a memorable 2014 World Cup round of 16 match against The Stars and Stripes.
