Ending the prolonged anticipation of Trocheck’s departure, the Rangers traded the veteran center to the Mammoth in exchange for top-four defenseman Sean Durzi, top forward prospect Cole Beaudoin and a third-round pick in the 2027 NHL Draft, The Post first reported on Wednesday.
The Blueshirts had been seeking the right trade partner for Trocheck since the weeks leading up to the trade deadline on March 6.
