Body of missing woman last seen at Florida strip clubs found in water as devastated dad reveals ‘family is broken’

Add The New York Post on Google A woman who was last seen at strip clubs in Florida has been found dead — and now her devastated family is searching for answers.

Keisha Nicole Jones, 31, was pulled from the waters off Biscayne Bay, near a NOAA research building on Virginia Key, three days after she was spotted on surveillance camera outside of a strip club holding hands with a man some 21 miles away, according to Local 10 News.

Jones was seen around 6 a.m. Friday morning leaving Dean’s Gold — an adult entertainment joint in North Miami Beach — and then jumping in a taxi to Scarlett’s Cabaret — another adult club in Hallandale Beach, local police said.

“That was one of the places where she was last seen with the person that she was with,” Richard Furlow, Jones’ father, told WSVN.

The FBI is now working to piece together what occurred that night, but declined to share any information.

“The FBI is aware of this matter. Out of respect for the ongoing investigation, we will refrain from commenting on its substance,” a spokesperson told The Post.

The Miami-Dade County Medical Examiner’s Office said it was waiting for family members to identify her body before releasing any details.

Furlow told The Post in a brief phone call Wednesday that he was on his way down to Miami Beach to meet investigators with other family members, who are desperate to know what happened.

Jones’ mother, who also traveled down to Florida, could not immediately be reached for comment.

Jones had “just got a relationship with her boyfriend recently, and she was starting a new life going to church, and kids go through things when they’re young, and then I felt that she was really trying to turn her life around,” Furlow told WSVN.

“My family is broken. My sister can’t stop crying. I’ve gotten so sick to the point where I’ve been having stiffness in my heart, my stomach, so I just try to keep it out of my mind, ’cause that’s the only way I can survive. Just trying to stay strong.”

North Miami Beach Police noted in a missing persons flyer that Jones had no known mental health issues or medical illnesses.

A NMBPD spokeswoman told The Post on Wednesday: “I can confirm that the woman who was found dead on Monday morning was Keisha Jones.”
