The Blueshirts acquired veteran goalie Joonas Korpisalo from the Bruins for a 2028 fourth-round pick and forward prospect Kalle Vaisanen, the team announced.
The expectation is that Korpisalo will compete with 24-year-old Dylan Garand for the No. 2 spot behind Igor Shesterkin.
