Want to see France vs. Paraguay in Philly? Get discounted tickets here

Add The New York Post on Google 250 years ago, the Founding Fathers signed the Declaration of Independence at the former Pennsylvania State House in Philadelphia.

Now, 250 short years later, Kylian Mbappé’s commanding France will duel with Miguel Almirón’s explosive Paraguay are visiting the city of Brotherly Love.

On Saturday, July 4, the two clubs are slated to play a high-stakes, winner-takes-all round of 16 World Cup match at the 67,594-seat Lincoln Financial Field.

If you’d like to root for Les Bleus or La Albirroja in person on the Eagles home field, last-minute tickets are still available for purchase.

At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find on seats was $952 including fees on SeatGeek.

Coming into the contest, Didier Deschamps’ Les Bleus are considered the favorite to win the 2026 World Cup. Thus far, the dominant club has plowed through the competition winning all four of their matches, including a confident 3-0 victory over Sweden in the round of 32.

To add insult to injury, they’ve beaten Paraguay twice in the World Cup before. Their first victory was in 1958 when they won 7-3 in Sweden. 40 years after that, France came out on top on their home turf in ’98.

Paraguay shouldn’t be taken lightly, though.

Although they’ve only tallied one win — against Turkey, who took down the USMNT — they shocked the world and stunned Germany in the round of 32.

Shortly after, Paraguay President Santiago Pena declared a national holiday to celebrate the occasion.

While France clearly has the advantage here, La Albirroja is riding the wave and hungry for revenge.

Could this be the year that they get back at Les Bleus for the nagging losses? Can they pull off one of the most shocking upsets in World Cup history?
