A Silver color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height overall blazoned as follows: Per fess Argent (Silver Gray) and Celeste (Teal Blue), in chief a deployed parachute Or surmounted by a dagger, point up and a lightning bolt of the like, in saltire; in base a fleur-de-lis of the first. Attached below the shield a Black scroll inscribed "COURAGE, COMMITMENT" in Silver.

The parachute symbolizes the airborne mission of the Battalion and the Division. The lightning bolt suggests speed and shock capability of the Division. The dagger signifies the Division's strength and power. The fleur-de-lis represents the unit's activation and service in France during World War II.

From a wreath Argent and Celeste (Teal Blue), two wings conjoined in lure Or surmounted by four spears in pile Proper. COURAGE COMMITMENT.

The dagger signifies the Division's strength and power. The fleur-de-lis represents the unit's activation and service in France during World War II. The four spears allude to the unit's campaign participation: Naples-Foggia, Rome-Arno, Rhineland, and Central Europe, during World War II. The wings denote the multifunctional nature of the Battalion, highlighting the unit's World War II Meritorious Unit Commendation.

A blue shield-shaped embroidered device with a semi-circular base 2 1/4 inches (5.72 cm) in height by 1 7/8 inches (4.76 cm) in width overall, edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) blue border divided diagonally from upper right to lower left by a 3/4 inch (1.91 cm) red stripe trimmed with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) white stripe, with a white lightning bolt diagonally centered on the red stripe. The beret flash was approved on 23 February 2006.
