Centered within a shield shaped embroidered item with a semi-circular base 2 1/4 inches (5.72 cm) in height and 1 7/8 inches (4.76 cm) in width ultramarine blue, another shield shape 1 1/2 inches (3.81 cm) in height and 1 3/16 inches (3.02 cm) wide having a 1/32 inch (.08 cm) border golden orange and charged with a golden orange lightning flash running from upper right to lower left point downward all within a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) golden orange border. The beret flash was approved on 17 November 2003.

Centered within an oval shaped embroidered item ultramarine blue with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) golden orange border 1 3/8 inches (3.49 cm) in height and 2 1/4 inches (5.72 cm) in width another oval shape with a 1/32 inch (.08 cm) border 1 1/2 inches (3.81 cm) wide by 3/4 inch (1.91 cm) high having a golden orange lightning flash running from right to lower left point downward. The background trimming was approved on 17 November 2003.
